Jean Marshall Coaching Resilience. Reinvention. Your Next Chapter.
My journey is rooted in lived experience, not theory.
Throughout my life, I have repeatedly stepped into new chapters, learned new skills, and created new paths forward. My career has taken me through many different worlds — from international modeling and fashion to talent development, sales leadership, photography, entrepreneurship, writing, and coaching.
Each transition required adaptability, courage, and the willingness to grow into something new.
Then life challenged me in ways I never expected.
After surviving a life-threatening stroke and a devastating car accident that resulted in the loss of my right leg, I had to completely rebuild my life once again.
I understand what it feels like when the life you knew changes and you are left asking:
“What happens now?”
Through those experiences, I learned that resilience is not about avoiding hardship. It is about finding the ability to adapt, move forward, and create a new path when life changes unexpectedly.
I learned that rebuilding does not mean starting from nothing. Every experience, skill, challenge, and lesson becomes part of the foundation for what comes next.
Throughout my personal and professional journey, I found myself returning to the same principles whenever I entered a new chapter — whether I was changing careers, building businesses, learning new skills, or navigating unexpected transitions.
Over time, I recognized that the approach I had naturally used throughout my own life could be developed into a framework to help others navigate their own seasons of change.
From that realization, The Marshall Method™ was born.
The Marshall Method™ is built from the principles I have personally practiced throughout my life — helping people navigate transitions, rebuild confidence, recognize their strengths, and create their next chapter.
One of my greatest strengths throughout my career has been recognizing potential in others — often seeing abilities, talents, and possibilities that they may not yet see in themselves.
From developing talent in the fashion and pageant industries to leading teams, training others, and coaching individuals through change, I have always been drawn to helping people uncover what makes them unique.
When I worked with aspiring models and talent, I learned that success was not about making everyone fit the same mold. It was about recognizing each person’s individual strengths, gifts, and potential — then helping them develop those qualities into something they could confidently share with the world.
This ability to see possibilities in others has been a consistent thread throughout my life and is one of the foundations of my coaching today.
I help people recognize the strengths, experiences, and capabilities they already possess so they can move forward with greater confidence and direction.
Before becoming a coach, I built a career across creative, entrepreneurial, and corporate environments.
My experience includes international modeling, fashion, talent development, photography, entrepreneurship, and business leadership.
I have also worked in corporate sales and management, including mortgage lending, where I developed client relationships, managed accounts, led teams, and trained others in communication, sales, and performance.
These experiences shaped the way I coach today: practical, grounded, and focused on helping people create meaningful progress.
My work combines lived experience with professional coaching education and behavior-change approaches, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) strategies
REBT principles
Emotional intelligence coaching
Mindset and behavior-change strategies
