Jean Marshall Coaching Resilience. Reinvention. Your Next Chapter.
Life doesn’t always follow the plan we imagined.
A career changes. A relationship ends. Your circumstances change. You realize the life you built no longer fits who you are becoming.
And eventually, you have to ask:
Who am I now, and what do I do next?
The Never Starting From Zero Method™ is the framework behind my coaching.
It is based on a simple idea:
You don't start from zero. You start from everything you've already built.
Your experience. Your skills. Your knowledge. Your strengths. Your relationships. Your interests. Your accomplishments. Your failures. Your lessons.
Instead of throwing everything away and starting over, we look at what you already have and explore how it can become the foundation for what's next.
The Never Starting From Zero Method™ gives you a different way to look at your past — not as something you've left behind, but as something you can use.
The method helps you uncover what you've already built, recognize what still has value, and see possibilities for where it could take you next.
The process is simple. What you discover can change everything.
The Personal Inventory Map™ is one of the practical tools I use within the process.
It helps you take a closer look at everything you've accumulated throughout your life and see what you may have overlooked, forgotten, or never recognized as valuable.
You're not starting with nothing. You're starting with an inventory.
I didn't create this method because I studied reinvention in a textbook.
I discovered it by living it.
Throughout my life, I've reinvented myself across very different worlds — international modeling, fashion, talent development, pageant direction, mortgage lending, sales, photography, entrepreneurship, writing, and coaching.
I've had to learn new things, adapt to new environments, and figure out what I could take with me each time I moved into something different.
Then life changed in ways I never could have planned.
After surviving a life-threatening stroke and a catastrophic accident that resulted in the loss of my right leg, I had to rebuild my life again.
But I wasn't starting from nothing.
I still had everything I had learned, experienced, developed, and become along the way.
That is the foundation of The Never Starting From Zero Method™.
You don't have to erase your past to create something new.
You can use what you've already built.
